A very hot day at the Jacksonville Florida Zoo I found most of the animals asleep. This was a great opportunity to take photos as no one was moving around very much. This is a wonderful zoo by the way. All the animals have shady areas or man made structures where they can get away from the heat of the Florida sun. Currently they have one bull, Ali, donated to the Zoo by Michael Jackson, and three cows - Missy, Sheena and Kimba.This is a charcoal/pencil drawing on Bristol.
