"New Zealand Pelican"

I thoroughly enjoyed doing this piece. I'm still trying to get crisp edges with pastels - what a challenge, but that's what I want to do. I came in here and there with a pencil to try and sharpen up the edges - it works! Interesting technique. Not sure how the whole piece would look though if I did that - maybe too cartoony. This was fun!
