Elephants have always been dear to me. I love watching the elephant nature videos and spotting a calf hiding, and being protected, among all the legs and trunks of the herd. It's amazing how so many wildlife species go to such great lengths to protect their young - just like humans do!This drawing was done on translucent vellum with charcoal, pencil and pastels.
