"The Scary Palm" 3" x 4.5" mini

Well, this started out as a good idea I think but really hasn't developed into anything I like. I think it's the surface. Even though it's called "Bristol Plate" - which is supposed to be a very smooth surface, there is still too much tooth there - and little white specks are showing up between the lead strokes. It's like I can't fill the paper's surface no matter how hard I press. I don't have this problem on duralar or polymin so I might try this again on a different surface.
